Maypops in Gatlinburg

Their cupcakes are very hard and stale. Their pizza is stale and they dont use gloves to touch the finished version as they throw it into a storage bin. I watch their employee vap and then touch the pizza with her bare hands without washing them. She was handling money as well during this. Not worth it at all. How ever their turkey leg was very good.

We got smoothies and they were so artificial they shouldn't be allowed to have the word fruit in front of smoothies on their menu. Nothing was natural about the "fruit" smoothies except the ice... Yuck. They were not worth it. We got donuts and a cupcake for my family and those were fine, so I'll give 3 stars.

The ice cream was tasty and I had a glazed donut that was soft and fresh. No complaints from my family.

Very expensive and tasteless donuts. We bought 2 donuts, glazed and red velvet, for a bit over $6. The glazed donut just felt like dough in your mouth, the red velvet was so dry I coughed because of the moisture being sucked out of my mouth.

They have amazing ice cream. My favorite is Peaches and cream. Everyone there is very friendly.

A great little place to visit with excellent customer service. Nice benches outside. Good ice cream they make there. Lots of other good snack options as well as Turkey legs.

Great service all the employees were nice and very welcoming but the pizza was terrible and the Oreo donut was decent but smothie not worth getting.

It was National Ice Cream Day and we wanted some from someplace other than a chain store. We chose Maypops because it stated homemade ice cream. It was delicious. Many of the reviews say it's overpriced, but it is less than the neighboring chain stores. I had the Banana Pudding ice cream and my husband had the salted camel crunch. Both were great, and even better was the friendly service.

The hours of operation are not correct.

Best place to eat on the strip for the money and it was delicious. Definitely will stop there again next time!

I always rent a mobility scooter here, and they are awesome!! So friendly, and helpful, they really offer a service that makes my Gatlinburg vacations completely enjoyable and accessible. I took my scooter on the strip of course, but also The Island in Pigeon Forge!!!

My review is mixed as my family bought both ice cream and donuts. My wife got ice cream and it was very good. The kids and I got a mixture of donuts and an apple fritter. I was not a fan of the donuts, they seemed old (it was the afternoon) and like they were bought from somewhere else. At $3 a piece, I wouldn't buy them again. If you want ice cream, go here. If you want donuts, walk down the Donut Friar.

The biggest heaviest cupcakes I've ever seen , yummy and stayed open later than anyone so that was nice ! Rents scooters also

Our experience at Maypops was great. The quality of the street tacos were a nice surprise for $4. Really good flavor. The pizza slices were ok not great. You wouldn't feel ripped off getting pizza here but it wouldn't be satisfying either. The ice cream was good. For a milkshake for $7 that musta had 3 or 4 scoops on it. Very thick.If your hungry and want some good food .. you'll be happy you came. Staff was nice and friendly to us.

This place was disgusting. We ordered pizza and I knew by the look of the pizza it was going to be bad. Behold we butninto and the pizza was HORIBLE, spot it out and threw it away immediately. AVOID

Ordered two chicken tacos around 1 pm and didn't realize the meat was not made to order. It was so dry it was solid hard on the outside. Not even being dramatic. So disappointed. They smelled fabulous the day before.

The Apple Pie ice cream was incredible!!! The Banana Pudding ice cream was great too! We will definitely go back when we are back in Gatlinburg.

My rating will be for the food, not the dessert. The dessert actually looked good. We got street tacos and the chicken baskets. The chicken wasn’t bad but not for the price we paid. The tacos however, were terrible! The meat tasted fine but the sour cream ruined it! I don’t know if they make it homemade or what but it tasted very similar to a rotten cream cheese. A couple of the staff members were very nice but overall the level of professionalism is lacking. We will not be back for the food.

So yummy! Staff was funny and nice 😊 we got a vanilla, aquarium and the carmel latte stuff.

We bought a half dozen donuts. We asked the clerk if they were made fresh daily and he assured us that they were. I have never had a more stale donut in my life. They were awful. I do not recommend this place. It wasn't cheap either. $16 for 6 donuts. Quite a ripoff!!!

The turkey legs are pretty good, but the donuts and pastries aren't anymore. Went here about a year ago and it was great. Came back and wanted to splurge on a fresh, premium donut like I remembered. Instead I got a stale, bland circle of cardboard. They have a sign that indicates complaints aren't welcome, so I must assume they mean for their donuts to taste that bad and will never change. Oh, and the prices are too high for a lower quality than a local grocery store. Go anywhere else.

Best home made ice cream and friendly service

One thing my wife and I love is ice cream. So with that being said, I would just pass on this place. The texture of this ice cream is a little off, not very creamy and super sweet.

This used to be a great place, but Saturday night 7/27/19, we were in and while looking at the cupcakes, saw evidence of a very dirty refrigerated case.We left immediately.

Great presentation but poor quality especially for the price. I really like the the hip rustic set up. I've been the before and the ice cream was great. But this last time I was there I bought 2 maple bacon donuts. They were overpriced, $4 a piece. They were hard and no maple flavor.

The great smells will draw you in and the display of all the goodies will have your mouth watering.

We loved this place! We came twice during our 4 day stay! The banana pudding ice cream was fantastic! They also had great cupcakes. The employees were friendly and fast. They were a little pricey, but not any more than other places around them. Plus you got a ton of ice cream! It was difficult to finish the amount given!

The best and only homemade ice cream in town great service huge pieces of pizza the men and women that work there were so quick a helping my family to get back out on the strip and enjoy our vacation I highly recommend this ice cream / food shop for anyone they have almost anything you're looking for

Very rude, two males behind the counter were disrespectful to my wife. October 5th 2018, 7:30 pm. One employee wearing glasses gave a thumbs up to me when I said something to him. This place does not want customers, I have never been in an establishment with this much disdain. Do not enter unless you want to be harassed by male employees.

Pretty good place for some quick street food. I've always seen the giant sign stating they sell Turkey Legs and finally bought one. It was fairly decent and it was a rather large leg. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The ice cream and mango smoothie were good, but the service was not. There was a sign indicating the requirement to wear a mask (and all customers were), but none of the employees were wearing one from what I saw. Additionally, the woman helping us get our ice cream seemed very rude to me.
